“Preservation of our environment is not just an ethical question, but an urgent question of our very survival as living beings. The abuse of environment, which resulted in such a great harm to the life on this planet, arose from the ignorance of the interdependence between the living beings and nature.
Today, however, we have access to more information, and it is essential that we re-examine ethically, what we have inherited, what we are responsible for, and what we will pass on to the coming generations. We have the capability and the responsibility. We must act before it is too late.”
